The foliage plants give lasting structure while the orange and yellow pansies add warm colour, so it works as a ready-made feature for a patio, doorstep or balcony, or as a seasonal gift. As a ready planted arrangement it needs no gardening experience: simply put it in place and enjoy it.

The plants are already growing together in the trough and arrive in it, so there is nothing to plant out. It is hardy and can stay outdoors all year. Choose a spot with good light, from partial shade to full sun, and water regularly, making sure the trough drains freely so the compost never sits waterlogged.

Upkeep is light. Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser during the growing season and remove spent pansy flowers to keep the display going.

Cultural Information

Common Name: Autumn Mixed Planter, Seasonal Mixed Plants

Perfect For: Patios, doorsteps, balconies, gifting

Foliage: Mixed, evergreen conifer, heuchera and fern foliage with moss finish

Flower Colour: Orange and yellow pansies

Planting Position: Full sun to partial shade

Hardiness: Hardy, stays outdoors in its trough all year

Maintenance: Low maintenance

Seasonal Interest: Year-round, at its most colourful in autumn

Type: Pre-planted hardy container arrangement

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0646/2455/8300/files/1_b9057db4-c39e-4ffb-bb09-3b3948f4597b.png?v=1793659066
