Lobelia 'Springs White' – Summer Bedding (Set of 3 or 6)

Lobelia 'Springs White' is a free flowering bedding lobelia that builds a cloud of tiny flowers over fine leaves.

The flowers are a clean snow white in the classic five lobed shape, three fan like lower lobes and two smaller upright ones. Each flower is only about a centimetre across, but they come in such numbers that the plant reads as a solid dome of colour, and the stems trail gently over the edge of a pot. It is made for containers, hanging baskets, window boxes and the front of a bed.

This is the half hardy bedding lobelia, Lobelia erinus, not the tall hardy border kind, so it will not come through a British winter and is replaced each year. It hates drying out more than it hates the cold, so keep the pot moist. All lobelia is harmful if eaten and is toxic to cats and dogs.
