An upright bush fuchsia for beds, borders and patio pots, flowering from late spring through to autumn.
The flowers are double or semi double bells that hang along the stems in quantity, set against deep green leaves with toothed edges. The plant is naturally rounded and bushy, reaching somewhere between 40 and 90cm tall and 30 to 50cm across depending on the variety, so it holds its shape in a container as well as it does in the ground.
Grow it in full sun or partial shade in compost that never dries out, and feed with a high potash feed through the summer to keep the buds coming. Bees, hoverflies and butterflies work the flowers all season. It arrives as an established plant in a 3L pot, grown in peat free compost, usually already in bud or bloom. This is a half hardy fuchsia, so plant it out after the frosts and keep it under cover over winter if you want to grow it on.
