Delivery details

Fuchsia 'Cascade' is a trailing fuchsia that spills pink and white bell flowers over the edge of a basket from late spring until the first frosts.

The stems arch and then hang, carrying pendulous two tone blooms along their length above mid green oval leaves. Trailing growth reaches around 30 to 60cm, which is enough to clothe a basket or soften the edge of a window box without swamping anything planted with it.

Use it in hanging baskets, patio pots, window boxes and balcony planters. It is happiest in partial shade or dappled light, out of harsh midday sun, in compost kept evenly moist, with a high potash feed every week or two once the buds appear. Deadhead as the flowers fade and the display keeps going into autumn. Bees and other pollinators work the flowers. Three established plants are supplied in individual 10.5cm pots, ready to plant. Fuchsias are not frost hardy, so plant out after the frosts and bring plants under cover before the first cold nights if you want to keep them.
