A trailing petunia bred for sheer flower power, spilling over the side of a basket or a pot from late spring until the frosts.

Surfinia is the original vigorous trailing petunia and it still does the job better than most. Deep Red covers itself in deep red trumpet flowers on stems that reach 60 to 80cm, growing quickly to fill a basket, a window box or the edge of a large container. It stays low, 15 to 30cm tall, and simply cascades.

Give it a sunny spot and it will keep flowering with very little help. Water it well in warm weather and feed it fortnightly through the summer. Each plant is supplied as an established 10.5cm root ball, grown peat free at our Yorkshire nursery. It is not hardy, so plant it out once the frosts have passed and treat it as a plant for one summer.
