A free flowering trailing petunia that cascades over the edge of a basket from spring until the frosts.
The plants are compact but vigorous, reaching about 15 to 30cm tall before spreading and trailing outward, and they carry small to medium trumpet flowers in such numbers that the foliage all but disappears. That makes them a natural choice for hanging baskets, raised containers, window boxes and patio planters, where the veined lavender flowers give a softer effect than a solid colour.
Give them full sun and fertile, free draining compost. Petunias are not hardy at all, so plant out only once the last frosts have passed and expect them to finish with the first cold nights of autumn. They also dislike drying wind, so a sheltered spot pays. Water regularly and feed through the season to keep the flowers coming. Supplied as well rooted 10.5cm plants in your choice of three or six.
