Geranium Toscana Dolce Vita Mylena, Gisela or Smart Senna (Pelargonium) – Upright Zonal Bedding (Set of 3 or 6)

Geranium Toscana Dolce Vita Mylena, Gisela or Smart Senna is an upright zonal geranium from the Toscana Dolce Vita range, grown for rounded heads of flower held above green foliage all summer.

It makes a bushy, well branched plant on thick fleshy stems, the shape that fills a patio pot or a bedding block without running to leggy growth. Flowering carries on from late spring until the first frost, so it earns its place in a container for the whole season rather than a few weeks of it.

Each plant arrives as a large, well established root ball in a 1 litre pot, grown peat free, and most arrive in bud or already opening. Plant it in full sun or light shade in fertile, free draining soil or compost, water regularly through warm spells, feed while it is in growth and take off the spent heads to keep new buds coming. Geraniums are not hardy, so plant out after the frosts and lift the plant into a frost free place over winter if you want to keep it for another year.
