Prized for its glossy, dark green fronds with distinctive holly-like leaflets, this elegant fern is one of the hardiest and most reliable evergreen ferns available, thriving where many other plants struggle. Each plant is supplied as an 11cm root-ball, well-established and ready for planting straight into borders, woodland areas or containers.

Cyrtomium fortunei is a wonderfully low-maintenance perennial that forms neat, arching clumps of leathery fronds, providing structure and texture throughout the seasons. It is especially suited to shaded and sheltered positions, making it an excellent choice for underplanting beneath trees and shrubs, filling gaps in north-facing borders, or adding softness to shaded courtyard gardens.
