Rosemary Growers Choice Mix – Evergreen Culinary Herb (Set of 3 or 6)

A grower's pick of rosemary, sent as 'Speedy', 'Blue Rain' or 'Blue Winter' depending on what is at its best on the nursery.

All three give the same aromatic needle-like foliage and soft blue flowers from spring into summer, and all three are evergreen, so the plants hold their structure and their scent through winter. Expect neat bushy plants of 40 to 90cm depending on the variety, useful in a herb bed, a patio container, a Mediterranean border or a pot by the kitchen door where you will actually reach for them.

Rosemary wants full sun and sharp drainage above everything else; wet winter soil kills it far more often than cold does. Once established it is drought tolerant and needs very little. The nectar-rich flowers open early in the year and are one of the first useful feeds for bees and butterflies. Rosemary can irritate the skin, so wear gloves when you prune it.

Supplied as three or six large plants in 1 litre root balls, grown in peat-free compost, well branched and outdoor ready.
