Freesia 'White River' – Fragrant Summer Perennial (2L Pot)

Freesia 'White River' opens pure white, funnel shaped flowers with the sweet scent freesias are grown for.

It belongs to the Delta River series, bred for growing outdoors in British gardens rather than under glass. Each graceful stem carries several blooms, which makes it a generous cut flower as well as a garden plant, and the white shows up beautifully at dusk.

Give it a warm, sheltered spot in full sun or light shade, in fertile soil that drains freely, or grow it in a pot on the patio where you can manage the drainage and move it under cover. It is not a hardy plant. In colder gardens mulch the corms in autumn, or lift them and store them dry and frost free until spring. It arrives as an established plant in a 2L pot.
