Delivery detailsA hardy shield fern whose new fronds flush copper gold in spring before ageing to a rich green.
'Jurassic Gold' gives you two plants for the price of one attention wise: the warm toned flush when the fronds unfurl, then a settled green clump with strong architectural form for the rest of the year. It suits a woodland border, a shaded patio or a mixed planting scheme that needs a quiet anchor.
Each plant is supplied as an established 3L root ball in its nursery pot, grown in peat free compost at our Yorkshire nursery. Being bigger than plug grown stock, it settles quickly and looks like a real plant from the day it arrives.
It is hardy, resilient and undemanding, asking only for an occasional tidy of the old fronds.
