Hosta 'Tears from Heaven' (Plantain Lily) – Hardy Shade Perennial (3L Pot)

Hosta 'Tears from Heaven' is a refined shade perennial with blue green to grey green leaves and a neat, mounding habit.

The heart shaped leaves have a soft, glaucous finish and a gentle undulation to the edge, and the clump builds steadily to around 30 to 45cm tall and 60 to 75cm across. It gives good ground cover and quiet structure in a shaded border, and delicate lavender tubular flowers appear on tall scapes through summer.

Supplied as an established plant in a 3 litre pot, garden ready on arrival. Plant into moist, humus rich, well drained soil in a sheltered shaded spot, water through the first season, and feed in early spring. Cut the foliage back once it has died down in late autumn, and watch the emerging shoots for slugs and snails.
