Lupin 'Legendary Rose Shades' – Hardy Cottage Garden Perennial (3L Pot)

This Legendary lupin carries tall flower towers in soft rose shades, the classic cottage garden spire.

The spikes reach 60 to 90cm and rise from hand shaped mid green leaves through the summer flowering season, giving a border the vertical lift that mounded perennials cannot. It works as well in a large patio container as in a bed, and the flowers bring in bees and other beneficial insects. Deadheading the spent spikes promptly often earns a second flush later in the summer.

Supplied as an established plant in a 3 litre root ball, ready to go straight into its final position. Plant in sun or light shade in well drained, slightly acid to neutral soil, spacing plants 45 to 60cm apart for the best effect. Water regularly while it settles, then cut the foliage back in autumn to keep things tidy over winter.
