A large flowered pansy that keeps going through frost and dull weather, holding its colour from autumn right through to spring.

Marina is the deep blue one. Large, velvety blooms in a rich marine blue carry subtle darker face markings, and they hold their colour through cold, wet and frosty spells from autumn to late spring. Growth is compact and well branched, around 15 to 20cm tall and 20 to 25cm across, so the display stays neat and full.

Give it a place in full sun or light partial shade in moist, well drained soil and it settles quickly. It is fully hardy, and the winter flowering pansies sit out frost and snow then carry on flowering when the weather lifts. Deadhead the spent blooms and the display keeps going for months. Bees and other early pollinators work the flowers on mild days.

Supplied as three established plants together in a single 3 litre root ball, ready to plant straight out into beds, borders, patio containers, window boxes or baskets.
