Delivery detailsPolyanthus 'Piano Mix' brings cheerful, jewel-toned colour to the garden from autumn into spring, with rich, velvety flowers in a blend of deep reds, purples, blues, yellows and creams. Each bloom has a contrasting bright eye that adds real impact through the cooler months.
These compact, mounding plants flower reliably through the cooler seasons, which makes them one of the most versatile and long-lasting choices for seasonal bedding and container displays. They are hardy and frost-tolerant, so they cope with British weather and keep flowering. They also attract bees and early-season pollinators.
You receive 12 plants growing in 2 plastic 6-cell trays, one plant to a cell, ready to plant straight into borders, patio pots, window boxes and other containers. They like a cool, sheltered spot in partial shade to full sun, in moist, humus-rich soil that does not dry out. Water regularly in dry spells and deadhead spent flowers to keep them blooming.
Like all primulas, polyanthus can cause stomach upset if eaten and skin irritation in some people, so wash your hands after handling.
