Cyclamen hederifolium (Ivy Leaved Cyclamen) – Hardy Autumn Flowering (3 x 9cm Pots)

Cyclamen hederifolium is the hardy autumn flowering cyclamen, grown for delicate swept back flowers and marbled, ivy shaped leaves.

Flowers appear on bare stems from late summer and carry on well into autumn, ahead of the foliage. The leaves follow and hold their silver green marbling right through winter and into spring, so a single plant gives two clear seasons of interest. Leaf patterning varies naturally from corm to corm, which is part of the charm when they are planted in groups.

It is one of the most reliable plants for dry shade, naturalising happily under deciduous trees, along shaded borders and in rockeries, and spreading into a low carpet as the corms widen with age. It holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Supplied as three established plants in individual 9cm pots, ready to plant out. Cyclamen tubers are harmful if eaten.
