Delivery details

The Marble Queen Pothos (Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen') is one of the most popular houseplants in the UK, grown for its trailing stems of heart-shaped leaves marbled in creamy white and green.

Also known as devil's ivy, it is a naturally resilient plant that copes with a wide range of indoor light. The brighter the spot, the stronger the white variegation stays, while leaves in a darker corner tend to fade towards plain green. Left to its own devices it trails elegantly from a shelf or hanging basket, or it can be trained up a moss pole to climb instead.

It arrives as an established plant in a 1 litre, 12cm nursery pot, ready to display as it is or to slip into a decorative cover pot of your choice, which can be chosen as an option on this listing. Give it bright, indirect light and let the compost dry out a little between waterings, and it will reward you with steady new growth.

Pothos is an easy, low maintenance plant that needs little beyond an occasional trim to keep it bushy, and a stem cutting will root readily in a glass of water. It is toxic to cats and dogs, and the RHS also records it as a skin and eye irritant to people, so keep trailing stems out of reach of pets and children.
