Zamioculcas zamiifolia (ZZ Plant) – Evergreen Houseplant (12cm Pot)

The ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) is one of the easiest houseplants to keep alive, with glossy, dark green leaves that bring a bold, sculptural look to any room.

It copes with everything from bright indirect light down to quite low light, and it is highly drought tolerant. It stores water in thick rhizomes, so it is far more likely to suffer from overwatering than from being left alone for a week or two.

It arrives as an established plant in a 1 litre, 12cm pot, ready to put straight on a shelf, desk or windowsill in an office, living room, bedroom or bathroom.

It is harmful if eaten and can irritate skin and eyes, and it is listed as toxic to cats and dogs, so keep it away from pets and children who might chew the leaves.
