Celosia 'First Flame Yellow' – Plumed Cockscomb (Set of 3 or 6)

Celosia 'First Flame Yellow' carries upright feathery plumes in clear yellow above neat green foliage all summer.

The plumed cockscomb is grown for those dense, flame shaped heads. They hold their colour for weeks and cut well for a vase, and the strong vertical shape gives height and texture next to softer flowers in a bed or a mixed container.

Plants are supplied as 1L pot grown specimens, a full garden centre size rootball in a 13cm pot, so they establish quickly. Celosia is tender and wants a warm, sheltered spot: the plumes are easily battered by wind and heavy rain, so keep it out of an exposed position.
