Lantana 'Evita Pink' is a bushy patio lantana, carrying tight domed heads of small flowers right through the warm months.

Each head is packed with tiny tubular flowers that often change colour as they age, so a single plant can carry two or three shades at once. It makes a compact, slightly trailing bush that suits a patio container, a hanging basket or a sunny border, and it wants the warmest, brightest spot you have.

Lantana is not hardy and must be kept frost free over winter in a conservatory or heated greenhouse, so most gardeners treat it as a one season patio plant. All parts are harmful if eaten by people, dogs, rabbits and rodents, the unripe berries worst of all, and the stems can be prickly. Each plant arrives as a robust 1L rootball, in bud or already in flower, so it settles quickly and gives colour straight away.
