Lysimachia 'Goldilocks', a fast-growing trailing foliage plant that fills containers, baskets and bare ground with vibrant golden colour.
Lysimachia 'Goldilocks', commonly known as creeping Jenny, is grown primarily for its glossy, golden-green foliage that spills effortlessly over edges and quickly covers open soil. Rounded, coin-shaped leaves catch the light beautifully, creating a luminous carpet effect that pairs perfectly with flowering plants or stands strong on its own. Its naturally trailing habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets, containers, rock gardens and as a low, spreading ground cover.
Supplied as well-established 10.5cm rootballs, these plants are ready to plant straight outdoors and establish rapidly. 'Goldilocks' is exceptionally easy to grow, adapting well to sun or shade and requiring very little maintenance once settled. The golden leaves colour best in sun but can scorch in hot, dry spots, so give it moisture or a little shade. It roots as it runs and can spread further than wanted in a damp border. Small yellow, cup-shaped flowers may appear in early to mid-summer, adding subtle seasonal interest to this reliable foliage performer.
