Pansy 'Delta Pro Clear Light Blue' flowers straight through the cold months, holding large light blue blooms from autumn to spring.
The Delta Pro series is bred for cool weather and it shows. The flowers stay full and evenly coloured in the dull, cold conditions that flatten most bedding, and the plants keep a tidy upright cushion about 15 to 20cm each way rather than sprawling. Winter pansies like these sit out frost and snow, then carry straight on flowering once the weather lifts.
Plant them in autumn in pots, window boxes, along an edge or in a bed, in a fertile free draining soil, in full sun or light shade. Deadhead as the flowers go over and they keep coming until spring. They ask very little otherwise, and early pollinators work the flowers when almost nothing else is open. Plants are supplied as well rooted 10.5cm rootballs, ready to go straight outdoors.
