Petunia Express Pum Vein is a large flowered grandiflora bedding petunia, grown for broad, velvety blooms from late spring until the first frost.

Grandiflora petunias carry the biggest flowers of any bedding petunia, with wide overlapping petals and a soft texture that catches the light. The plant forms a neat, bushy mound rather than trailing, filling a container quickly without going leggy, which makes it a good choice for a patio pot, a window box or a block of summer bedding at the front of a border.

Plants are supplied as large, well established 10.5cm rootballs, grown in peat free compost at a nursery in Yorkshire, so they root away quickly and flower earlier than a plug or a seed raised plant. Give them full sun and shelter from drying wind, in well drained, fertile soil or compost. Water regularly, feed through the season and take off the spent flowers to keep new buds coming. Petunias are not hardy, so plant out only once the last frosts have passed.
