Leucanthemum x superbum 'Madonna' is a compact Shasta daisy with fully double, pure white pompon flowers.

It flowers freely from June into September above neat clumps of dark green, lance shaped leaves, and holds a tidy 30 to 40cm in both height and spread, so it stays where it is put in a border or a container. The blooms are excellent for cutting and hold their shape in a vase for days. Being a fully double form, it is less useful to bees than the single daisies, so plant it alongside single flowered perennials if the border is meant to feed pollinators.

Supplied as established plants in 1 litre pots, ready to plant into beds, borders or pots. Give them sun or light shade and soil that drains freely, especially over winter. Deadhead through the season to keep the flowers coming, and lift and divide the clumps every two or three years to keep them vigorous.
