Primrose 'Queen White' opens clean white flowers with a soft yellow eye above neat rosettes of textured green leaves.
It forms a tidy rosette of mid green, textured rosette leaves, roughly 15 to 20cm tall and 20 to 25cm across, and flowers steadily over many weeks. Primroses are happy in beds and borders, in patio pots, window boxes and winter baskets, in full sun or light shade, as long as the soil stays moist. They are true perennials and will come back year after year if left in the ground, even though they are usually bought and treated as one season of spring colour.
Supplied as a well established 1L rootball, well rooted and often in bud or in flower on arrival, so it can be planted straight away. The early flowers are a valuable source of nectar for bees and butterflies when little else is in bloom. Primulas can cause stomach upset and skin irritation.
