Anemone 'Harmony Blue' – Japanese Anemone (Set of 3 or 6)

Anemone 'Harmony Blue' is a Japanese anemone, flowering soft blue lilac from late summer into autumn.

Open faced flowers with a contrasting eye are carried on upright stems above tidy clumps of fresh green leaves, reaching around 80 to 120cm tall and 45 to 60cm across. They arrive at the point in the year when most borders are running out of colour.

Plant in sun or light shade in soil that stays reliably moist but drains freely, in a border or a deep patio pot. Bees work the flowers and the stems cut well. Once settled, Japanese anemones spread strongly at the root, so give them room or lift and divide every few years. Anemone is harmful if eaten and the sap can irritate skin.

Supplied as three or six garden ready plants, each as an established 11cm root ball.
