Planting Tips:

Plant in a sheltered spot with partial to full shade for the best foliage colour. Ensure the soil is well-drained but retains some moisture, and enrich with organic matter at planting time. Avoid planting too deeply – the crown should sit at soil level. Mulch around the base in autumn to protect the shallow root system over winter. Divide clumps every three to four years to maintain vigour.
