You can choose from a pack of 3 or pack of 6 fully established sage plants, combining two premium varieties: Salvia officinalis ‘Berggarten’ and Salvia officinalis ‘Growers Friend’. Together, they provide a blend of velvety silver-green foliage, strong herbal fragrance & outstanding culinary flavour. ‘Berggarten’ produces soft violet blooms in late spring, while ‘Growers Friend’ stays densely leafy, offering year-round aromatic foliage perfect for cooking, drying or decorative planting. Reaching 45–60 cm tall × wide, these hardy evergreen sages thrive in borders, herb gardens, patio pots, gravel beds & Mediterranean-style plantings.

Each sage plant is supplied as a healthy, fresh & fully established 1L rootball, professionally grown in premium peat-free compost at our Yorkshire nursery. Larger & stronger than supermarket herb plants, they arrive fully rooted, garden-ready & packed with fragrant leaves. Naturally drought tolerant, easy to grow & ideal for beginners, these sages perform reliably in full sun and well-drained soil—returning year after year with robust structure, rich aroma & culinary value.
