Coreopsis 'Sunfire' is a tickseed, a hardy perennial that flowers from early summer into autumn.

Coreopsis flowers from early summer into autumn, the daisy like blooms carried in quantity above fine green foliage on a clump forming, free flowering plant. Depending on the variety it makes anything from a neat rounded mound for edging and pots to a slightly taller plant for the middle of a border.

Grow it in full sun in free draining soil. Coreopsis is hardy through a normal winter here but rots in wet ground, so drainage matters more than feeding. Once settled it copes with dry spells and asks for little beyond regular deadheading, in a border, a gravel scheme or a patio pot. Bees and butterflies work it constantly and the stems cut well.

Supplied as a well established 2 litre pot grown plant, ready to plant straight out.
