Lavender Essence Purple – Hardy Perennial Garden Shrub

A beautifully fragrant and compact lavender, Essence Purple produces rich, deep purple flower spikes throughout the summer months. This hardy evergreen perennial is a reliable garden performer, offering wonderful scent, colour and structure to borders, pathways, containers and cottage garden schemes. A magnet for bees and butterflies, it is a valuable addition to any wildlife-friendly or sensory garden.

Lavender Essence Purple is a drought-tolerant, low-maintenance shrub that thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it requires minimal watering and is well suited to dry, sunny positions. It works beautifully as a low hedge, border edging, rockery feature or Mediterranean-style planting. The aromatic purple flowers can also be harvested for use in potpourri, sachets or homemade lavender oil.
