Nemesia 'Nuvo Blue Bicolour' – Scented Summer Bedding (2L Pot)

Nemesia 'Nuvo Blue Bicolour' carries masses of small, softly scented flowers from late spring right through to early autumn.

The flowers are two lipped and snapdragon like, a two tone blue, held in loose clusters over neat mounds of fresh green foliage. Plants build a tidy bushy shape around 25 to 40cm tall and wide and keep flowering without going leggy, so one plant will hold a container together for a whole season. The scent is light and carries best on a warm evening, which is an argument for putting it near a doorway or a seat.

Grow it in full sun or partial shade in fertile soil that stays moist but drains freely, and trim it lightly after the first flush to bring on the next. Bees and other pollinators work the flowers steadily. Nemesia is not reliably hardy here, so it is usually grown as a one season plant or kept somewhere frost free over the winter. Each plant is supplied established in a 2L pot, grown peat free in Yorkshire.
