1 Large Plant - Cotinus Royal Purple, Ready to Plant in Your Garden, 3L Pot

Regular price £27.99

A dramatic ornamental shrub prized for its rich purple foliage, airy summer flower plumes and striking architectural presence, perfect for mixed borders, specimen planting and adding long-lasting colour to the garden.

Cotinus 'Royal Purple', commonly known as Smoke Bush, is celebrated for its deep burgundy-purple leaves that retain their colour throughout the growing season. In summer, large airy clusters of tiny flowers create distinctive smoky plumes that appear to float above the foliage, giving the plant its popular name. As autumn arrives, the leaves transform into brilliant shades of scarlet, orange and crimson, extending its seasonal appeal. Reaching approximately 2–4 m tall and wide, it develops into a beautiful, rounded shrub that provides structure, colour and interest for much of the year.

Our Cotinus plants are professionally grown in high-quality peat-free compost and freshly delivered directly from our UK nursery in Yorkshire, in plastic-free, giftable packaging. Supplied as large, garden-ready plants in generous 3-litre pots, they feature strong, well-developed root systems that establish quickly and develop into impressive landscape specimens with minimal maintenance.
