Dahlia 'Dahlegria Pink Flame' – Summer Flowering Perennial (3L Pot)

Dahlia 'Dahlegria Pink Flame' is a patio dahlia grown for flowers on strong upright stems, flowering from midsummer through to the first frosts.

Plants make an upright clump around 60cm to 120cm tall and 45cm to 75cm across, with plenty of flowers held above lush green foliage on strong stems. They add real height and presence to a border, and cut well for the house.

Give it a sunny, sheltered spot in fertile soil that stays moist but drains freely, and water regularly through the growing season, especially in a container. Deadhead regularly to keep the flowers coming, and stake taller plants if they need it. It is not fully hardy, so lift the tubers once frost has blackened the top growth and store them somewhere cool and frost free, or mulch deeply where winters are mild. Supplied as one established plant in a 3L pot, grown in peat free compost at our Yorkshire nursery. All parts may cause severe discomfort if eaten and the sap can irritate skin.
