Hosta 'Silly Strings' is a clump forming hardy perennial with remarkably narrow, ribbon like leaves streaked in green and gold.

Where most hostas give you broad heart shaped leaves, this one gives movement and fine texture, which makes it stand out in a shaded border, a woodland planting or a container. Slender scapes carry pale lavender flowers above the leaves in mid to late summer. It settles at roughly 25 to 40cm tall and 45 to 65cm across, dies back in autumn and returns reliably each spring.
