Hosta 'Tears from Heaven' is a deeply textured shade perennial with corrugated, heart shaped leaves in rich blue green.

It forms a dense, weed suppressing mound of roughly 40 to 55cm in height and 55 to 75cm across, which brings structure to a shaded border, a woodland style planting or the ground beneath trees and shrubs. Pale lavender flower spikes rise on tall scapes in mid to late summer, and the plant dies back in autumn to return with vigour each spring.
