Planting and Care:
Plant in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Water regularly during dry spells, particularly when plants are in active growth and flower. Feed fortnightly with a high-potash liquid fertiliser once buds begin to form to encourage prolific blooming. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to promote continuous flowering throughout the season. In autumn, after the first frosts have blackened the foliage, cut back stems and either lift tubers for frost-free storage over winter or apply a deep mulch to protect them in milder areas.
