The Olive Tree (Olea europaea) is one of the most iconic and enduring trees of the Mediterranean landscape. With its characterful silver-green foliage, gnarled branching structure, and timeless appeal, it brings a touch of southern European warmth to UK gardens, patios, and courtyards. Supplied in a 3 litre nursery pot and standing at an established 80–100 cm in height, this young olive tree arrives well-rooted and ready to thrive — whether planted into a larger container or directly into a sheltered, sunny border.

Olive trees are prized for their long life, drought tolerance once established, and striking year-round evergreen foliage. They grow at a steady pace and respond well to light pruning to maintain shape. In a sheltered UK position, they are surprisingly resilient and can be overwintered outdoors in milder regions or brought under cover in colder climates.
