Patio Rose, Yellow – Compact Repeat Flowering Rose (3L Pot)

A compact patio rose that repeats its yellow flowers from late spring right through to autumn.

It stays low and bushy at roughly 45 to 60cm by 45 to 60cm, which is what makes it happy in a pot for years rather than only in the ground, and it carries glossy mid green leaves under the flowers. Supplied established in a 3 litre nursery pot, ready to pot on into a larger container or to plant into a prepared border. A planter can be chosen with this rose, and it is a pot only: the plant supplied is the same whichever you pick.

Give it an open, sunny position on fertile, well drained soil, and never plant it where a rose has just been growing, as rose replant disease will stunt a new plant. Feed it in spring and again after the first flush of flower, deadhead through the summer to keep it repeating, and prune it hard in late winter or early spring. Water it through its first two summers and in any long dry spell. Air moving around the plant keeps blackspot and mildew down, so clear fallen leaves away rather than leaving them underneath it. Almost all roses carry thorns, so keep it clear of paths and doorways where people brush past.
