Cyclamen 'Raspberry Ripple' is a florist's cyclamen with distinctive swept-back petals in deep rose and soft blush pink, marbled together in a ripple pattern. It brings colour to autumn and winter containers, window boxes and baskets when most other plants have finished.

The flowers rise above compact mounds of deep green, heart-shaped leaves with attractive silver marbling. Cyclamen persicum flowers over a long season through autumn and into winter, and removing spent flowers with their stalks keeps the display going.

You receive 12 young plants, growing one to a cell in 2 plastic 6-cell trays, ready to plant out into containers, window boxes, baskets or the front of a sheltered border. Choose a spot in partial shade that is out of cold wind and has good drainage. Water at the edge of the plant rather than over the crown, flowers and leaves, and avoid overwatering. A balanced liquid feed every two to three weeks during flowering will help.

This cyclamen is not hardy. It will take a light frost in a sheltered container, but a hard or prolonged frost will kill it, so treat it as one season of autumn and winter colour and move it under cover in severe weather. The tubers should not be eaten.
