Delivery detailsPrimroses bring soft, rosy colour to the garden from late winter into spring, and Primrose 'Bonneli Appleblossom' is a lovely pink form of Primula vulgaris with a pale yellow eye.
The Bonneli series is well regarded for its large, vividly coloured blooms and compact, tidy habit, which makes it a popular choice for spring displays, patio pots, window boxes and cottage garden borders. The crinkled, mid-green leaves form a neat rosette, and the early flowers are a welcome source of nectar for bees on the first mild days of the year.
You receive 12 plants, growing in 2 plastic 6-cell trays, one plant to a cell. They are established and in active growth, ready to plant out into borders, containers or window boxes. Choose a spot in sun or partial shade where the soil stays moist but does not become waterlogged.
Water regularly in dry spells and remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Primroses are true perennials, so they will come back year after year if planted out in the garden after flowering. Primulas can cause stomach upset and skin irritation, so wash your hands after handling them.
