Delivery detailsBring rich autumn colour to a patio, border or doorstep with Chrysanthemum 'Zumba Red & Gold', a garden mum with bold, fully double flowers in deep crimson-red and warm golden-yellow.
This compact, bushy chrysanthemum flowers freely from September to November, when many other plants have faded. It looks good grouped in borders, planted up in containers or used to brighten a window box, and the pompon-style blooms are also good for cutting.
You receive 12 plants, each in its own 10.5cm pot, ready to plant or display. Plants may be in bud or in flower depending on the time of season. Grow them in full sun to partial shade, in a sheltered spot with moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly while they are growing, avoid waterlogging, and deadhead spent blooms to keep the flowers coming.
Garden chrysanthemums vary in hardiness. Autumn colour mums like this one are not reliably hardy outdoors, so for the best chance of winter survival plant in well-drained soil in a sheltered position and mulch the crown. All chrysanthemums are harmful to cats and dogs if eaten.
