Eucalyptus varieties such as France Blue and Gunnii (Cider Gum) are fast-growing evergreen trees prized for their rounded juvenile leaves in beautiful shades of silvery blue-grey. The distinctive foliage releases a fresh, uplifting aroma when brushed or cut, making them popular for ornamental planting as well as floristry use. When young, they form attractive upright specimens with smooth stems and neatly spaced foliage, developing into graceful trees over time. Depending on pruning and position, they can reach 4–10+ metres in height if left untrimmed, though they respond well to regular cutting to maintain compact, bushier growth.
