Delivery detailsBring cool, calming colour to your garden with these light blue Pansy bedding plants. You get 18 plants growing in 2 plastic 9-cell trays, one plant to a cell, ready to plant straight into borders, containers or window boxes.
Pansies (Viola x wittrockiana) are among the most popular and versatile bedding plants, loved for their ease of care and long flowering season. The soft, pure light blue blooms with a classic pansy face give a simple cottage-garden look, and pair easily with whites, purples and yellows. They are hardy, flower through autumn and spring, and can carry on through mild winters, with the winter flowering types sitting out frost and snow and flowering again when the weather lifts.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained, fertile soil or compost, spacing plants about 15-20cm apart. They grow well in borders, patio containers, hanging baskets and window boxes. Water regularly, keeping the compost moist but not waterlogged, feed with a balanced liquid feed every 1-2 weeks and deadhead spent blooms to keep the flowers coming.
