'Superior Seedless', also sold as Sugraone, is a vigorous white grape giving sweet, seedless dessert fruit.
It is best planted against a south facing wall or fence, or trained along a trellis, pergola or arbour, in a warm, sunny and sheltered position with well-drained soil. It also grows in a large container on a patio or balcony, and crops more reliably in a conservatory in cooler parts of the country.
The vine itself is fully hardy right across Britain, but hardiness and ripening are two different things: the grapes need a warm, sheltered, sunny spot, ideally against a south or west facing wall, to ripen properly outdoors. Water regularly through the growing season, feed in spring and switch to a high potash feed once the fruit starts to form. Prune in late winter while dormant, cutting the previous year's growth back to one or two buds so the vine makes strong new fruiting shoots, and thin the bunches if it sets heavily.
Supplied as an established vine in a 3 litre root ball.
Grapes and vine leaves are harmful to dogs.
