Depending on the variety, plants produce loose or tightly packed clusters of sweet, juicy berries with flavours ranging from classic muscat to richly aromatic and strawberry-hinted notes. Most varieties ripen from August to September, delivering generous harvests suitable for fresh eating, juicing, preserves, drying or small-scale home wine making. When trained, vines can reach anywhere from 3–10 metres, making them ideal for pergolas, arbors, trellises, cordons, greenhouses or edible garden features.
